Jessinia and Fernando
Jessinia is 9 years old and attending the Amiguitos Laguna school in Veracruz, Mexico full time. She is in the 2nd grade. Her parents are Cesar and Francesca. She has an older sister Karla and a younger brother Fernando. Jessinia is very smart and likes to try new things. She came on the Amiguitos excursion to “Monkey Island” this December. Her friend Antonio (our “poster child” for Amiguitos) and Jessinia both got their faces painted like monkeys. Jessina loved the boat (with Jerry - Curtis’ uncle,; Karla – Jessinia’s sister; Curtis- Executive Director of Amiguitos; Dana – Curtis’ daughter; Maria Elena – Assistant Teacher at Laguna; Rosa – Student in Laguna and Anne – Spouse of Curtis). Jessinia’s family goes out of Veracruz to buy fruit in the nearby countryside and sells the fruit in the city. They like soccer, recently the family all went to a game together. Jessinia is excited about building the new center on the land and even helped to dig the foundation with Curtis and all the teenagers with help from the parents who volunteers.
