During this week Abbey Wright arrived in Veracruz from Denver CO
to
begin an internship about half a year in the Laguna center!
She was
immediately put to work teaching English to the High School
students.
We expect all will be speaking perfect BBC English in no time.
This week's activities were normal with English and computer classes
including this week the high school students took their first exam.
There was bread and Mexican Independence day parties. We
made green
white and red bread, the children also had their civic and minute of
silence to remember the heroes of September 16.
We also celebrate Abbey's birthday with piñata (Tiger from Winne
the Pooh) and cake.
Week's attendance was 85 children. Thank you for your
support.
