Victor V and Erika join the center this month as new students

Hello -  Goldi still cannot write and this week is using a new apparatus for her hand which should last for about  two weeks but we will see what the doctor says in two weeks.  The activities of the week were normal Sunday to Wednesday.  Thursday we had clinic with doctor Porfirio and also were accompanied by two people visiting us from the Diocese of Chicago that came to get to know our programs better. Friday and Saturday we had meetings for the synod of the Diocese with Maria Elena, Omar, Goldi and I each as delegates.  We returned Saturday very behind schedule (with much to do).  This week we will start the breakfast program for select students in need of another daily meal prior to school.  And next Saturday the center’s computer class for the teenagers will be at Goldi’s house so we will use the two laptop computers there (since they have trouble in the dust at the center).   The idea is that the teenagers will come each Saturday to Goldi’s house after the activities and classes in the center and perhaps Monday through Friday when they need to do their homework and to also use the Internet.  I report that two new children have been received in the center.  One is 16 years of age but its mental capacity of 4 years (she is a very special girl named Erika).  The other student is a boy of 4 years old who lives with his grandma since he was recently abandoned by his parents (his name is Victor V.).  Now we have THREE students named Victor!
