15 November 2009 Veracruz Update

Hello everyone - I want to report to you that this week Raul, Antonio, and Mariana finished their treatment of antibiotic injections.  Those who have been ill have finished with their medicines.   We are awaiting the return of bad weather.  Agustin finishes his treatment of injections for his skin infections and look forward to the day that his skin is better (photos enclosed).  Maria Elena has not begun her treatment since the cost of her medicine is very expensive.  She reports that this week she finished all her examinations of this semester.  Antonio is much better and is learning to read better and now knows his basic math facts.  As far as Miguel Angel he is also improving with time.

More dance practice!

Also this week we continued yesterday with confirmation classes, the teenagers’ bible studies and the dance practices for the 15th birthday celebrations.  We also had the normal English and computer classes.  We are beginning to prepare a group for their baptisms planned for the 27th of December, which Curtis will officiate, since when you are all here I get to take a little vacation from the services!  We are preparing the teenagers to help again with the clinics while you are all here in December.  Attendance this week has been Sunday to Wednesday 64 children, Thursday 58, Friday and Saturday 62.  Goldi
